This role is Outside IR35. Contract Length: TBC

Location: The office location of the position is based in SE London. There will be an element of hybrid working allowed depending on the nature of the work and at the discretion of the project or programme manager. In addition, there will be a requirement to travel to other locations within London and occasionally outside commensurate with the requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Build, configure and manage full VMWare infrastructure stack (mandatory)
- Microsoft Windows skills, building physical and virtual servers (mandatory)
- Active Directory Domain management (mandatory)
- Microsoft Domain Controllers and SQL (mandatory)
- Installation and configuration of network infrastructure (mandatory)
- Installation and configuration of COTS products (desirable)
- Knowledge of Enterprise Compute platforms (Dell/HPE/Cisco) (desirable)
- Knowledge of Enterprise Storage Arrays (EMC/Pure/HPE) (desirable)
- Knowledge of Enterprise Backup infrastructure (NetBackup/Veeam) (desirable)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to ensure solution performs as expected (desirable)
- Knowledge of Government Security requirements (desirable)
- Knowledge of Government Encryption requirement and limitations (desirable)
Your Background:
- You will have successfully implemented medium to large scale applications and data migrations.
- You will be hands-on when required, particularly in building and configuring applications or hardware.
- You will have broad knowledge of Application, Data Information and Infrastructure Architecture.
- You will have broad experience of migrating Windows based bespoke applications, including file plans and database repositories.
- You will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record of working with varied stakeholders in a corporate organisation.
- You will have a proven track record of liaising with third parties, System Integrators and outsourced service providers.
