The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.

This role is Inside IR35. Contract Length: 6 months. Location: Successful applicants will be able to work from a combination of home and the office in London. In line with the client’s policy, there would be an expectation to spend 3 days a week at the office.

Clearance: DV preferred/Enhanced SC accepted

Essential:

  • Excellent communication skills - with a track record of communicating complex information to a range of different stakeholders
  • Project Management skills – the ability to keep multiple projects on track
  • Strong storytelling skills – the ability to draft compelling narratives that leave the audience hooked in short and long form content
  • A self-starter, able to work effectively, collegiately, pitch ideas and support team members
  • Effective stakeholder management - ability to build excellent relationships across grades and with a variety of government and private stakeholders
  • Proven track record of delivery in fast-paced environments, across multiple briefs, whilst maintaining compliance and quality
  • Adaptable and flexible, willing to flex approach and objectives to support changing priorities and support colleagues
  • Open, honest, and authentic team member with high levels of integrity and professionalism
  • Sound judgement in decision making, and being solution orientated

Desirable:

  • An understanding of national security and defence
  • Experience at the cross section of government and industry
  • Managing external outlets e.g. LinkedIn or Website

Overview: As part of this, a new communications function has been established, to set the direction and posture for how the client communicates with its key stakeholders across government, venture capital and start-ups. We are looking for a Senior Communications Officer to support the Head of Communications and Engagement deliver some of these activities at pace and in a collaborative manner.
