Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or strong finance background with demonstrable FP&A experience.
- Prior exposure to M&A, transactions or corporate finance — whether in-house, in practice or advisory.
- Advanced financial modelling skills; genuinely hands-on in Excel and able to build models from a blank sheet.
- Experience preparing carve-out or standalone financials, cost allocations and pro forma adjustments.
- Strong grasp of the three financial statements and how they interlink, plus valuation and returns fundamentals.
- Comfortable handling incomplete or messy data and forming a defensible view at pace.
- Confident communicator, able to present analysis clearly to senior stakeholders and external advisers.
