Contract Length: 3-6 months
Location: London, England, United Kingdom – 2 days p/w onsite.
Minimum Criteria
- Proven experience in AZURE Terraform code
- Demonstrable experience in GitHub Actions
- Experience of working in a controlled environment with strict change control
- Good understanding and practical implementation of both CI and CD
- Good working knowledge of the installation and configuration of Windows based systems.
- Hands-on experience in Software development
- Experienced in mentoring and training junior engineers.
Essential Criteria
- Good working knowledge of PowerShell
- Good working knowledge of SQL
- Willing to experiment and fail fast
- Have a security-first focus, baked-in not bolted-on.
- Understanding and ability to provide quality, automated testing as you develop
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, organisation, self-motivation and a desire for self-improvement.
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to plan, schedule and manage a demanding workload.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience implementing or maintaining a CI/CD pipeline using Github Actions, Terraform, and Azure.
- Good working knowledge and practical experience of Azure Monitoring.
- Software development experience using C# and SQL Server.
- Experience of Packer, Kubernetes, AKS, Flux or Helm.
