This role is Inside IR35. Clearance: SC Location: Hybrid/Bristol (3 days per week onsite) Contract Length: Until 31/03/2026

The Safety Manager will be required to:

  • Deliver against the overarching programme and established safety management plan.
  • Evolve and advise the safety programme to de-risk delivery and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Work for assigned delivery teams to produce safety and environmental artefacts to time and quality requirements.

Experience

  • Experience required in delivering safety and environmental artefacts.
  • Experience required in compiling safety case evidence, authoring safety case reports and hazard logs.

Essential

  • Working within the client’s resource augmentation team, deployed within the domain.
  • Practitioner level experience of safety management systems and processes (POSMS).
  • Experienced in Safety.
  • Practitioner level experience of:
  • Safety and Environmental Management Plans.
  • Safety Case / A Safety Case Report.
  • Hazard Logs.
  • Hazard identification and assessment.
  • Operation of safety review meetings.

Desirable

  • Working with eCassandra.
  • Fault and Event Tree (FTA / ETA).
  • BowTie assessment.
  • Safety arguments (CAE / GSN).
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation, regulation and standards and defence policy.
  • ASPIRE.
  • ASSERT.
