The MUST have skills required are:
- Strong hands on experience with Oracle Base Database
- Significant experience working within Oracle Exadata environments
- Ability to bring specialist OCI and Exadata expertise into the team, supporting knowledge sharing and upskilling of existing team members
Essential:
- Oracle Database technologies (RAC, Dataguard, RMAN Backup and Recovery) and Public Cloud Technologies (particularly OCI and AWS)
- Writing Infrastructure as Code and debugging Terraform and Ansible
- Managing and maintaining Security procedures including:
- Implementing network segregation in a public cloud environment (preferably AWS)
- Incorporating transport encryption to protect data in transit (preferably Oracle)
- Understanding implementation of database encryption options (preferably Oracle)
- Conducting Migration Testing (preferably through Oracle and AWS) and implementing secure authentication with OIDC for GitLab runners
- Maintaining and updating repositories with Git
