Essential Requirements
- Proven experience leading engineering delivery within complex, highly regulated or safety‑critical environments.
- Strong understanding of engineering governance, technical assurance and design management principles.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external engineering suppliers.
- Knowledge of engineering lifecycle management, configuration control and change control processes.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and provide technical leadership across multiple disciplines.
- Experience balancing safety, quality, cost and schedule considerations in engineering decision‑making.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of working on large construction projects in a nuclear or highly regulated environment.
- Candidate should ideally have an electrical or C+I background.
- Should have some commercial knowledge to ensure suppliers are being held to account on deliverables.
- Some technical knowledge to interpret drawings.
