Experience Profile
- Candidates will be assessed on depth of experience in automation, cloud, and CI/CD. Evidence must be demonstrable and aligned to real delivery outcomes.
- Proven track record as a Network / Infrastructure Engineer within large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience delivering engineering and build work, not purely operations or support
- Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up
- Comfortable working across multiple workstreams and priorities
- Experience in regulated or complex environments is advantageous
- We are seeking a true network/infrastructure engineer with a NetDevOps mindset and demonstrable hands-on capability across automation and cloud delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Enterprise Networking
- Strong hands-on experience with BGP and OSPF in complex enterprise environments
- Proven ability to design and implement secure, resilient network architectures
- Deep understanding of enterprise and hybrid network patterns
- Security & Firewalls
- Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong capability in policy design across on-prem and cloud
- Solid understanding of Zero Trust networking principles
- Data Centre & Architecture
- Experience with VXLAN, EVPN, VRF segmentation, multi-site fabrics
- Familiarity with vendors such as Arista or equivalent
- Load balancing experience (e.g. F5 BIG-IP)
- NetDevOps, Automation & Cloud (Critical)
- Candidates must demonstrate proven, hands-on delivery experience (not theoretical or exposure only) in:
- Network automation using Python and/or Ansible
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)
- Working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI/CD) to deploy infrastructure into cloud environments
- Designing and implementing hybrid cloud networking solutions
- Strong practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or OCI)
- Aruba Central / ClearPass
- SD-WAN technologies
- Cloud-delivered WLAN / WiFi solutions
- Experience modernising legacy network environments
