Must Have
- Experience of working in a highly unionised environment
- MCIPD or equivalent educational achievement (level 7) in a relevant field e.g. HRM, Learning and Development, Talent, Organisation Development
- An OD qualification, or equivalent professional knowledge gained through experience of working as an OD or Learning and Development specialist
- Evidence of a strong commitment to, and of, continuing professional development.
- Extensive years post qualification experience gained in a large complex organisation with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding and experience of linking strategic organisational objectives to the practical activities of the Talent and Development function
- Proven experience of providing clear advice to senior decision makers within a complex and large public sector organisation (or similar)
- A strong track record of delivering successful OD initiatives and organisation/Council wide projects and facilitating organisational change
