Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Understanding of Asset Management principles, asset lifecycle management, and best practice.
- Extensive experience in building inspections / systems testing, and commissioning M&E systems
- Extensive experience in commissioning handover for large office buildings
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering
- Knowledge of HVAC systems & Electrical infrastructure.
- Ability to review engineering designs and specifications
- Familiarity with engineering standards and codes of practice
- Root cause analysis and fault finding
- Significant experience within Hard FM, building services engineering or technical facilities management.
- Experience managing complex M&E projects in occupied environments.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience within public sector, commercial, and large estate portfolios.
- Experience of managing defects and snagging processes
- Experience using digital commissioning, handover and construction management platforms such as CxAlloy, BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dalux, Asite, Viewpoint, CEMAR, PlanGrid or equivalent.
- Experience reviewing operation and maintenance manuals, commissioning records and statutory compliance documentation.
