Administrative Assistant/Officer – 12879
Salary: £18.28 per hour (Inside IR35)
Location: Newport, South Wales. To adopt a flexible approach towards assisting with any work in the team, and other teams in the service area if requested.
Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Clearance: DBS
DESIRABLE
• CLAIT, ECDL, or qualified by experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Social Services
• Experience of working in a local government / Social Services environment
• Experience of using Microsoft Office within a business environment
ESSENTIAL
• Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, or substantial and relevant administrative experience working in an office environment
• Knowledge of standard computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, emails
• Knowledge of Data Protection principles
• Previous administrative or financial experience within an office environment.
• Proven experience of taking minutes at meetings
• Able to demonstrate excellent IT skills, and experience of using Microsoft Office in a business environment
• Experience of working with finance by making payments, or inputting or analysing financial information
