We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Finance Lead to support a major finance transformation and revenue recognition improvement programme within a complex software-focused environment. This role will focus on reviewing, strengthening, and implementing IFRS15 revenue recognition policies, while partnering with both finance and operational stakeholders to drive best practice and governance improvements. Hybrid working – 3 days per week onsite in the Southbank, London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and enhance existing IFRS15 revenue recognition practices
- Lead implementation of robust accounting policy improvements
- Develop and maintain technical accounting policy documentation
- Partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders to support change delivery
- Support statutory reporting and external audit activities
- Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex matters
Required Experience:
- Significant experience implementing IFRS15 within a software business
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience managing statutory reporting and external audits
- Strong understanding of internal controls frameworks
- Experience leading geographically dispersed finance teams
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified accountant
- Strong ethical mindset with confident decision-making ability
