We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Recruiter to lead recruitment delivery across key Central Government accounts. This is a strategic, fast-paced role requiring deep knowledge of public sector hiring practices, especially around security-cleared roles (SC/DV), and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with minimal oversight.

You will work across critical programmes, ensuring top-tier candidates are sourced, vetted, and onboarded efficiently and compliantly. You must be organised, proactive, determined, and persistent and confident working independently in a high-stakes, policy-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver full recruitment lifecycle for security cleared roles within Central Government accounts.
  • Act as a trusted recruitment partner to government hiring managers and account leads, understanding nuanced requirements and operating constraints.
  • Build and manage talent pipelines of cleared candidates for current and future demand.
  • Ensure timely and compliant recruitment delivery in line with government frameworks.
  • Track, report, and communicate on recruitment KPIs and service delivery against SLAs.
  • Use ATS and CRM tools to manage recruitment workflow and ensure audit-readiness at all times.
  • Manage high-volume requisitions without sacrificing quality or candidate experience.
  • Represent the organisation professionally in high-security, confidential environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience.
  • Proven success sourcing and placing SC and DV cleared candidates.
  • Exceptional account management skills – able to juggle multiple roles and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated self-sufficiency – thrives under minimal supervision and owns delivery end-to-end.
  • Solid understanding of government procurement frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, SCJ, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
Desirable
  • Experience working with consultancies or MSPs in a government setting.
  • Existing network of cleared candidates across UK Government digital, defence, or intelligence sectors.
