Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Predominantly remote – London presence 1–2 days per month

Security Clearance: SC

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer to take ownership of the design, delivery, and ongoing optimisation of secure, highly available platform services. This role focuses on enabling modern, cloud-first solutions across hybrid and public cloud environments, with Azure at the core.

Key Responsibilities

• Owning the end-to-end delivery of enterprise‑scale cloud and platform initiatives
• Architecting and implementing robust, secure Azure‑based platforms
• Championing automation and repeatability through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Enabling and supporting large‑scale cloud adoption and modernisation programmes
• Acting as a technical authority, clearly articulating solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences

About You

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including networking, identity, security, and both PaaS and IaaS services
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Solid grounding in Windows and Linux systems, hybrid identity models, IAM, and cloud security best practices
• Familiarity with AWS, FinOps, AI‑enabled tooling, Kubernetes, or VMware would be beneficial
• A track record of delivering resilient, enterprise‑grade cloud and infrastructure platforms
