Electrical Compliance Manager – Housing Association - £350 - £450 per day About the Company - Electrical Compliance Manager - Housing Association: Comuno Talent Partners is working with a local housing association to recruit an Interim Electrical Compliance Manager on a 6-9 month contract. As a key member of the Compliance team, the Compliance Manager will take responsibility for delivering a highly professional service that actively manages electrical and Lifting Equipment safety that ensures assets remain compliant with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements. Duties - Electrical Compliance Manager - Housing Association: * Maintain excellent knowledge of our electrical management systems and the continual development of the asset database and records will be expected to ensure full compliance. * The role holder will support the Compliance Manager and contribute to policy and procedure setting, specification and process reviews and development of the overall service offer and will ensure that all programmes remain fully compliant at all stages. * You will also lead on the management and delivery of compliance safety related works within the portfolio and ensure an effective programme of post inspections/audits of completed works and resolve technical queries. * They will proactively pursue and lead on compliance processes improvements and use audit inspections, business intelligence data and reporting to drive improvements and provide greater levels of assurance. * Effective implementation of data collection activities, reporting, record keeping, contract management, repair and maintenance activities and the provision of accurate and timely information for stakeholders will always be expected. * Scrutinise processes and work activities and ensure our assets always remain safe and comply with legislative and corporate policy requirements. * Implement and lead on service delivery improvements and support the senior management team in the effective, meaningful, and timely reporting of audit results against standards. * Ensuring the effective delivery of your compliance function, you will lead and coordinate activities with other parts of the business, audit/vet contractors and liaise with enforcement bodies. * You will lead a team who will be responsible for carrying out a number of compliance related activities. Person Specification - Electrical Compliance Manager - Housing Association: * Strong understanding and working knowledge of the social housing sector, providing exceptional services to customers and ensuring safe homes for our customers to live in. * Experience in delivering large scale domestic electrical testing programmes. * Knowledge of lifting equipment and safety maintenance including LOLER and PUWER regulations is expected. * Ability to forge and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders. * Strong influencing skills with the ability to persuade and influence others including peers is required. * Thorough understanding of building and safety legislation, associated technical standards, codes of practice and applied management of safety and broad knowledge and understanding of Approved Documents to the Building Regulations is also required. * The role requires a team leader who can motivate and inspire others, giving clear instruction and monitor and drive performance
