About The Role: The LTA’s vision is ‘Tennis Opened Up’ and its mission is to transform communities through tennis by making it welcoming, enjoyable and inspiring to everyone. The LTA also supports the development of padel, one of the fastest growing sports in Britain. The Performance Analysis function is a critical enabler, delivering targeted and impactful video and statistical intelligence to underpin evidence-based coaching and enable more effective decision making. The team of Performance Analysts, Data Engineers and wider support deliver this by focusing on direct player support and providing game-wide intelligence to understand the trends and standards needed to move through our player pathway. This is an immersive learning opportunity and will provide the successful candidate with a rare chance to develop technical and non-technical skills in an applied setting. The placement is full time, up to 28 hours per week, and will be dovetailed with MSc academic commitments. Successful candidates will be mentored by industry-leading performance analysts and will gain hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel, Power BI and cutting-edge performance-analysis software.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted video and statistical intelligence to support evidence-based coaching.
  • Provide direct player support through personalised performance analysis.
  • Generate game-wide intelligence to identify trends and standards across the player pathway.
  • Develop and maintain performance analysis reports using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Complete research-based projects that integrate MSc coursework with real-world tennis data.

  • Enrolled or accepted into the Sport Performance Analysis MSc at Middlesex University (2026/2027 academic year).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
