Exciting Engineering & Foundry Opportunities in New Zealand. We are currently seeking experienced and trade-qualified professionals to join a leading global manufacturer in New Zealand. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain international experience while working with advanced engineering and manufacturing processes in a world‑class production environment.
The successful candidates will initially be offered a 12‑month work contract, with the opportunity to transition to a further visa and extend their stay, subject to performance and employer requirements. Applicants will be required to pay for their visa application upfront; however, these costs will be reimbursed upon successful commencement of employment. Due to visa eligibility requirements, applicants must be under 35 years of age and have a clean criminal record.
- Sand Moulder Grade 2 (Foundry Workers)
Rate: day shift NZD $34.20 per hour; afternoon shift NZD $37.15 per hour; night shift NZD $40.93 per hour.
Previous foundry experience is essential, with sand moulding experience highly preferred. Candidates must be willing and able to work rotating shifts. - Metal Casting Trades Worker (Trade‑Qualified Foundry Workers)
Requirements: NZQA Level 4 assessment or equivalent recognised qualification, previous industrial foundry experience, and a recognised trade qualification in metal casting or a related discipline.
Rate: day shift NZD $40.31 per hour; afternoon shift NZD $43.27 per hour; night shift NZD $44.09 per hour. - CNC Machinist
Rate: day shift NZD $33.44 per hour; afternoon shift NZD $36.39 per hour; night shift NZD $37.22 per hour.
Candidates should have proven CNC machining experience, the ability to read engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances, and operate modern CNC machinery and tooling. - Fitting and Machining Engineer (Trade‑Qualified)
Requirements: NZQA Level 4 assessment or equivalent qualification, recognised trade qualification in fitting and machining or mechanical engineering, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience in precision engineering environments.
Rate: day shift NZD $39.41 per hour; afternoon shift NZD $42.37 per hour; night shift NZD $43.19 per hour.
