We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their on-site engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining, servicing, and improving electrical systems and production equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: £37,250
- Shift Allowance: £5,960
- Total Salary: £43,210
- 37.5 hours per week
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising to 25 days + bank holidays after 1 year)

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and servicing of all electrical and electronic equipment across the site
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs to minimise downtime
- Install and commission electrical systems and equipment
- Support modifications, upgrades, and refurbishment of machinery
- Conduct portable appliance testing (PAT) as required
- Assist with preventative maintenance planning and execution
- Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment efficiency
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and COSHH regulations
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues on basic electrical tasks where appropriate
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a maintenance electrician role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and machinery
- Commitment to health & safety best practices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to support continuous improvement and development initiatives
