Exciting Engineering & Foundry Opportunities in New Zealand. We are currently seeking experienced and trade-qualified professionals to join a leading global manufacturer in New Zealand. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain international experience while working with advanced engineering and manufacturing processes in a world-class production environment.
The successful candidates will initially be offered a 12-month work contract, with the opportunity to transition to a further visa and extend their stay, subject to performance and employer requirements. Applicants will be required to pay for their visa application upfront; however, these costs will be reimbursed upon successful commencement of employment. Due to visa eligibility requirements, applicants must be under 35 years of age and have a clean criminal record.
- Foundry Workers: We are recruiting Sand Moulder Grade 2 professionals. The day shift rate is NZD $34.20 per hour, the afternoon shift rate is NZD $37.15 per hour, and the night shift rate is NZD $40.93 per hour. Previous foundry experience is essential, with sand moulding experience highly preferred. Candidates must be willing and able to work rotating shifts.
- Metal Casting Trades Worker: Trade-qualified Foundry Workers are required. These roles require an NZQA Level 4 assessment or equivalent recognised qualification. The day shift rate is NZD $40.31 per hour, the afternoon shift rate is NZD $43.27 per hour, and the night shift rate is NZD $44.09 per hour. Applicants must hold a recognised trade qualification in metal casting or a related discipline and have previous industrial foundry experience.
- CNC Machinists: Experienced CNC Machinists are invited to apply for positions offering NZD $33.44 per hour on day shift, NZD $36.39 per hour on afternoon shift, and NZD $37.22 per hour on night shift. Candidates should have proven CNC machining experience, the ability to read engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances, and operate modern CNC machinery and tooling.
- Fitting and Machining Engineers: We are also recruiting trade-qualified engineers. These positions require an NZQA Level 4 assessment or equivalent qualification. Rates of pay are NZD $39.41 per hour for day shift, NZD $42.37 per hour for afternoon shift, and NZD $43.19 per hour for night shift. Applicants should possess a recognised trade qualification in fitting and machining or mechanical engineering, together with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in precision engineering environments.
