An excellent long-term opportunity is available for an experienced Quality Engineer / Inspector with a strong aerospace manufacturing background. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products and processes meet stringent quality standards, carrying out inspections, managing all internal and external audits, supporting root cause investigations, and maintaining compliance with customer and industry requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Engineer or Quality Inspector role
  • Strong aerospace manufacturing background
  • Experience managing and leading internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and inspection techniques
  • Experience supporting non-conformance investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections
  • Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements
  • Lead and manage all internal, external, customer, and certification audits
  • Ensure quality documentation and records are maintained accurately
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and production teams on quality matters
