A Wolverhampton-based manufacturing company is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Order Entry Administrator to support their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their skills in a technical, customer-focused environment. The role involves entering customer orders, supporting purchasing processes, and ensuring internal systems are up to date. You will be working closely with UK and export clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to help ensure that orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter customer orders into the internal system for both domestic (UK) and export clients
- Build internal job processes based on incoming orders
- Raise purchase orders with local suppliers as instructed, ensuring alignment with the customer order
- Scan, file, and organise documents in line with internal systems and procedures
- Raise internal job cards where necessary for specific customer orders
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to confirm order requirements
- Assist in maintaining general order and cleanliness in the office and filing systems
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative tasks
- Follow instructions and procedures, asking questions where clarification is needed
- Support other administrative duties that may arise as part of the role’s development
