A busy injection‐moulding facility in Leicester is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their operation.

About the RoleYou will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a range of injection‐moulding machines and associated equipment. From preventative maintenance to emergency breakdown response, you\’ll play a vital role in keeping the production environment safe, reliable, and efficient.

What You Will Be Doing

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and resolving issues quickly

Conducting inspections to identify problems before they impact production

Responding promptly to maintenance requests

Liaising with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations

Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records

Upholding safety standards across all tasks

What You Will Bring

Minimum of three years\’ maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including experience with schematics and logic controllers

Confidence in independent problem‐solving, with a collaborative, team‐focused approach

Clear communication skills and a high level of attention to detail

A driving licence is preferred but not essential
