Salary: £13.75 per hour, plus 2.5 hours fixed overtime and an additional shift allowance of 11 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
Job Purpose
To improve the reliability, performance, and overall condition of plant, equipment, and site infrastructure through effective planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across plant, equipment, and buildings
- Proactively improve machine reliability through structured maintenance schedules
- Support the implementation, development, and ongoing updates of the CMMS system
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
- Assist other departments as required to support operational needs
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean, and serviceable condition
- Provide guidance and support to operational staff, monitoring activities effectively
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures
- Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and on-site service work as required
- Monitor parts delivery and quality to ensure operational efficiency
- Liaise with engineers, managers, fitters, and shop floor personnel
- Perform fitting and assembly of machine components to engineering drawings
- Support quality initiatives to reduce errors, minimise scrap, and improve performance
- Undertake any additional duties as required
