Job Title: CAD & Production Engineer\\nSalary: Β£30,000βΒ£40,000 per annum\\nLocation: North East England\\n\\nA well-established metal processing business is seeking a CAD & Production Engineer to support the running of their new CNC steel processing line. The company supplies metal products nationwide and continues to invest heavily in automation, technology, and people.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nCAD & Technical Processing\\n\\n * Import, verify, and manage DSTV/NC1 files from industry-standard detailing software\\n\\n * Optimise nesting and material usage across full-length sections to minimise waste\\n\\nProduction Control & Coordination\\n\\n * Plan and schedule CNC drilling line operations to maintain continuous production flow\\n\\n * Manage tooling and consumables to ensure consistent, high-speed performance\\n\\n * Coordinate with operations and materials teams to ensure correct stock availability at infeed\\n\\nSkills & Experience Required\\n\\n * Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or structural detailing software\\n\\n * Experience in a production-driven or lean manufacturing environment\\n\\n * High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset\\n\\nWhatβs on Offer\\n\\n * A key role within a modern, automated steel processing facility\\n\\n * Genuine ownership of a critical production process\\n\\n * Long-term, stable employment with a growing business\\n\\n * Opportunity to work with advanced CNC steel processing technology
