About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused National Sales Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of national customers across merchants, retail, and buying groups. You’ll be responsible for strengthening existing partnerships while identifying and securing new business opportunities—working closely with key decision-makers including category managers, buyers, and directors. This is a highly visible, strategic role where your ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver growth will make a direct impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow national customer accounts by identifying opportunities and delivering tailored solutions
- Build and execute strategic account plans for all key customers
- Drive sales growth through strong relationship management and consistent service delivery
- Introduce new product developments (NPD) and expand product ranges within accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Operations) to deliver a seamless, joined-up customer experience
- Produce regular reports on pipeline, forecasts, revenue performance, risks, and opportunities
- Support tender processes, contract renewals, and customer presentations
- Negotiate and secure Annual Trading Agreements
- Champion and demonstrate our core values: Teamwork, Partnership & Family

About You
- Strong understanding of routes to market, including merchants, retail, and contract sales
- Highly skilled communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Commercially astute with strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously while managing a national territory
- High levels of energy, resilience, and drive to deliver results
- IT literate
- Full clean driving licence
Working Pattern & Travel
- National, customer-facing role (approx. 75% external / 25% internal)
- Regular travel required, including occasional overnight stays
