An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Applications Engineer to join a growing engineering organisation based in Rutland. The successful candidate will possess strong technical and engineering capabilities, alongside a solid understanding of process engineering principles required to evaluate customer specifications and develop solutions for flare systems and associated ancillary equipment.

This role will take responsibility for managing proposals from initial enquiry through to submission, while also supporting the development of proposal tools and processes within the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and interpret customer RFQ engineering packages, design specifications, codes, and industry standards to prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the development and risk assessment of customer applications.
  • Generate accurate job cost estimates in line with customer specifications and regional compliance requirements.
  • Establish product pricing in accordance with company guidelines and commercial targets.
  • Prepare and manage contractual documentation deliverables to meet both client and business expectations.
  • Compile, edit, and submit formal proposals.
