Comtec Translations is a family-owned, B Corp-certified localisation agency. We are looking for a Business Development Executive to help us start more conversations and create more opportunities.
The role involves:
- Researching companies worth approaching and identifying the right contacts.
- Reaching out by phone, email, and LinkedIn with persistence.
- Qualifying opportunities by asking insightful questions.
- Booking discovery meetings for the commercial team.
- Keeping opportunities moving and reconnecting with past clients.
- Maintaining the CRM for a clear picture of the pipeline.
We seek someone who:
- Has at least 2 years’ experience in outbound B2B sales, business development, or lead generation.
- Enjoys engaging with new people and understands the importance of persistence.
- Brings confidence, initiative, curiosity, resilience, and clear communication.
- Has ambition and a positive attitude.
Helpful but not essential:
- An interest in languages, international business, or communication.
- A second language or background in marketing or business.
- Exposure to sectors such as SaaS, technology, retail, or learning and development.
