About the Role

Fixed‑term contract, office location: Cirencester, UK, with hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote). We are looking for a professional, friendly team member to contribute to the success of our customer services operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customers’ requests promptly and professionally.
  • Obtain and evaluate relevant information to progress enquiries.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with customers.
  • Liaise with customers by telephone, electronic communication or face‑to‑face.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and disputes.
  • Manage order‑related administration.
  • Establish productive vendor relations to ensure quality of service to customers.
  • Validate customer purchase orders and create internal sales orders.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments such as Training, Marketing, Purchasing, Sales, Finance.
  • Advise customers of delivery dates and product information.
  • Liaise with warehouse team on dispatch issues and requests.
  • Respond to finance queries.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar customer service environment (1 year+).
  • Expertise in managing multiple cases and adhering to SLAs/KPIs.
  • Strong experience of relationship building and knowledge of pre‑ and post‑invoice customer service.
  • Effective communication, negotiation and active‑listening skills.
  • Skilled at multitasking, prioritising workload and demonstrating good time‑management.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle stressful and difficult situations tactfully.
  • Able to administer confidential financial and personal information appropriately.
  • Computer literate with MS Office and MS Outlook.
