The ESG Reporting & Engagement Co-ordinator / Manager plays a vital role in driving the operational delivery of Westcon-Comstor’s sustainability reporting and internal ESG awareness. This role coordinates the end-to-end development of the Group’s Responsible Business Report, manages ESG data collection and reporting across multiple frameworks (including CSRD, GRI, EcoVadis, and CDP), and engages internal stakeholders to embed ESG thinking across the business. The role is cross-functional, working with Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, and global site leaders to ensure robust data collection and cohesive storytelling. It is an operationally focused, hands-on role requiring strong data coordination skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to manage projects to tight deadlines.

This role is mostly hybrid-based in the UK with travel to South East offices once or twice a month.

Responsibilities
  • Project manage the end-to-end development and delivery of the annual Responsible Business Report.
  • Coordinate the collection of ESG data (environmental, social, and governance) from functions and global sites, including energy and emissions data.
  • Ensure compliance with key ESG reporting frameworks and requirements (e.g., CSRD, GRI, EcoVadis, CDP).
  • Support responses to client ESG information requests and external sustainability assessments.
  • Manage internal ESG awareness campaigns and collaborate with internal communications and marketing teams.
  • Maintain ESG data repositories and tools, identify and address data gaps.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to internal stakeholders, including engagement with the parent company.
Measures of Success
  • ESG-related reporting processes and operational routines are embedded across the business and working effectively.
  • The Responsible Business Report and all other ESG disclosures are delivered on time, accurately, and in full compliance with applicable standards (CSRD, GRI, EcoVadis, CDP).
  • ESG data is accurate, timely, complete, and effectively communicated across the business, with identified gaps and improvement areas.
  • ESG reporting receives positive feedback internally and externally, demonstrated through successful audits and improved EcoVadis or CDP scoring.
  • Internal awareness campaigns contribute to increased ESG engagement and data ownership across departments.
Qualifications / RequirementsAbout You
  • Education: Degree in Sustainability, Business, Communications, Data Science, Environmental Studies, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in ESG/sustainability reporting, corporate communications, or data management. Exposure to external sustainability disclosure frameworks (e.g., GRI, CSRD, EcoVadis, CDP) is a strong advantage. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional data collection and collaborate across teams. Experience supporting reports or public disclosures (e.g., sustainability or annual reports).
  • Knowledge / Skills: Strong Excel skills and experience with data tools (carbon data platforms, internal reporting systems). Excellent attention to detail, organization, and project coordination skills. Ability to clearly communicate ESG findings and insights both in writing and verbally. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing tight timelines. Basic knowledge of the GHG Protocol and carbon accounting. Interest in or experience with ESG communication and engagement campaigns. Proactive mindset with the ability to flag risks or data issues and suggest improvements.
