Rebura, part of the Westcon-Comstor Group and a leading AWS Consulting Partner, is looking for an AWS FinOps Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an AWS-focused professional who enjoys working directly with customers to optimise cloud spend, improve cost efficiency, and ensure organisations are getting maximum value from their AWS environments. As a trusted advisor, you'll work closely with customers, helping them understand and manage their AWS expenditure while balancing performance, scalability, governance, and cost optimisation.
This is a highly customer-facing role, requiring someone who can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams through to senior leadership and C-suite executives. Whilst FinOps expertise is highly valued, we are particularly interested in individuals with strong AWS knowledge and experience who can build relationships, communicate effectively, and deliver meaningful business outcomes for customers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analysing AWS billing and consumption data across customer environments
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve cloud efficiency
- Recommending and implementing cost optimisation strategies, including Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Spot Instances and Graviton adoption
- Building budgets, forecasts and spend models aligned to customer business objectives
- Monitoring usage trends and proactively identifying cost anomalies
- Supporting governance initiatives including tagging strategies, reporting standards and financial controls
- Automating and enhancing cost reporting using AWS-native and third-party tools
- Delivering FinOps best practice recommendations and optimisation roadmaps
- Working closely with Professional Services, Support and Customer Success teams to balance cost, performance and operational requirements
- Acting as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers achieve the greatest possible return on their AWS investment

- Experience working with AWS in a consultancy, managed services, cloud partner, or customer-facing environment
- Experience in AWS FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, Cloud Operations, or a related discipline
