As part of our continued growth and sustained vision to be a leader in our sector, COMSOL is seeking two full‑time Sales Development Representatives to join our Cambridge‑based team and help drive continued growth of our UK business. The COMSOL Multiphysics® software is used by scientists and engineers worldwide to solve physical problems in their research, design, and development work. You will work closely with both academic and commercial sales teams to assist them in building a pipeline of prospective leads in the UK and Ireland.
Primary Responsibilities
- Qualify and contact incoming leads via phone, email and digital channels
- Drive outbound work through multichannel outreach (e.g. LinkedIn, campaigns and SDR tools)
- Assist the sales team to identify and develop new sales opportunities
- Work directly with account managers on various campaigns to build the sales pipeline and identify new contacts and business opportunities within existing customers
- Assist account managers to organize and facilitate workshops with key accounts and public workshops as required
- Create and develop email campaigns
- Book meetings and support the sales process from first contact
- Participate in conferences, exhibitions and networking events
- Collaborate with marketing to promote COMSOL events to both new leads and existing customers
- Support SDR‑led events to nurture prospects and build the sales pipeline
- Update and maintain the company CRM system to assist the marketing and sales team to promote COMSOL more efficiently
- Provide support with sales operations activities, including order processing, licensing and administrative sales support as required
- Support wider team activities during key business events where additional resource is needed
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in sales, marketing and technical, both locally and internationally
