Are you looking for a rewarding career with a local company? Then Comserv could be your next career move. We are looking to recruit an experienced Painter to join our friendly team based in Havant. This role will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Responsibilities Painting/staining garden gates, fences, garages etc. Assisting in determining the most cost effective approach to achieving a durable and quality decorative finish. Advising customers on the selection of colour schemes and wall coverings available. Liaising with tenants to carry out the required work. Prepare and clean surfaces using the most appropriate method (e.g. Scraping, sanding, sand‑blasting and hydro blasting), including removing wallpaper, loose paint, repairing cracks, holes and joinery. Applying paint, stains, lacquers, fibreglass, metal coatings and any other materials as necessary. Plastering skills would be an advantage. Willing to work at heights, such as aluminium tower scaffold, fixed scaffold, ladders and steps. Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met at all times. eg. assembling scaffolds and swing gates where necessary. Any other duties required to complete tasks required within skill set. Willing to work with non‑licensed asbestos. Must be able to drive. #J-18808-Ljbffr
