We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented commercial and industrial PV sales specialist. You will be responsible for directly selling high-end PV modules and system solutions to commercial and industrial end-users (factories, warehouses, supermarkets, hotels, farms, etc.) within a designated region. Your core objectives are to develop new clients, manage the entire sales process, exceed sales targets, and build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently develop and manage the sales pipeline, actively seeking, screening, and engaging with potential commercial and industrial clients.
- Gain a deep understanding of clients' energy needs, electricity consumption patterns, and sustainability goals, and work with the team to provide customized PV system solutions.
- Prepare and present professional technical and commercial proposals with the team, including system design, power generation simulation, return on investment analysis, and various financing options.
- Lead contract negotiations, secure project contracts, and ensure smooth handover to the delivery and execution team.
- Act as the primary contact person for clients, establishing and maintaining high-value, long-term strategic client relationships.
- Establish strategic partnerships with local EPC contractors, engineering consulting firms, energy service companies, etc., to expand indirect sales channels.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of successful B2B sales experience in the European market, with experience in photovoltaics, renewable energy, electrical engineering, or related fields preferred.
- Fluent in English and the language of the region (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Dutch, etc.).
- Ability to quickly learn and understand the basics of photovoltaic technology, system design, and financial models.
- Willing and able to frequently travel for business within the assigned region (approximately 50% of the time).
Preferred Qualifications
- A stable network of industrial and commercial clients or relevant industry contacts.
- Familiarity with photovoltaic project financing (PPA, leasing, loans, etc.) and energy policies of various European countries.
- Basic knowledge of using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and solar design software (e.g., PVsol, Helioscope).
