The CS Department at University College London is delighted to announce an opening for a permanent Systems and Networking faculty position at the Lecturer (Assistant Professor) or Associate Professor ranks. UCL is one of the top-rated research institutions in the world, and currently the top recipient of Horizon 2020 funding in Europe. As of 2025, 32 Nobel Laureates and 3 Fields Medalists were UCL affiliates. The department itself is one of the best worldwide for computer science with over 170 academics.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties:
- To carry out research and produce publications, especially in the areas of Computer Systems and Networking.
- To teach at undergraduate and graduate level, in particular in our field.
- To carry out administration within the Department.
- To obtain research funding.
- To supervise undergraduate and graduate students.
