Roles and Responsibilities
- Accept deliveries from suppliers, couriers, internal transfers and Check delivery documentation (e.g. delivery notes, packing lists) against physical deliveries.
- Inspect received goods for damage, quantity discrepancies, or quality issues and immediately Log and report any damages or non-conformances
- Label and tag items with appropriate part numbers and descriptions.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods and their locations.
- Conduct stock counts
- Safely move and store materials in correct locations within the warehouse or production areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, or other handling equipment as required.
- Support the Quality Department by quarantining and tagging any suspect goods.
Requirements
- Proven background in stores or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
- Experience driving a FLT.
- Computer literate, with experience using inventory or ERP systems
- Strong Goods In / Goods Out experience, including booking in materials and managing stock accuracy.
