Roles and Responsibilities

  • Accept deliveries from suppliers, couriers, internal transfers and Check delivery documentation (e.g. delivery notes, packing lists) against physical deliveries.
  • Inspect received goods for damage, quantity discrepancies, or quality issues and immediately Log and report any damages or non-conformances
  • Label and tag items with appropriate part numbers and descriptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of received goods and their locations.
  • Conduct stock counts
  • Safely move and store materials in correct locations within the warehouse or production areas.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, or other handling equipment as required.
  • Support the Quality Department by quarantining and tagging any suspect goods.

Requirements

  • Proven background in stores or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience driving a FLT.
  • Computer literate, with experience using inventory or ERP systems
  • Strong Goods In / Goods Out experience, including booking in materials and managing stock accuracy.
