A growing specialist manufacturing business are looking to appoint an Order Processor to support a busy operation during an exciting period of expansion.

Working within the procurement function, this newly created role will play a key part in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from receipt through to dispatch.

You'll work closely with colleagues across purchasing, production, stores, logistics and customer-facing teams to keep orders moving and ensure customers receive a high level of service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator with experience in order processing, customer service, supply chain, logistics or manufacturing administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain customer orders through internal ERP systems
  • Check order details, pricing, product codes and documentation for accuracy
  • Raise works orders, pick lists and dispatch paperwork
  • Monitor order progress and provide updates to internal stakeholders
  • Liaise with purchasing, stores, production and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries
  • Assist with stock and order-related administration
  • Handle customer and supplier queries relating to orders and deliveries
  • Ensure all records are accurate and maintained in line with company procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales order processing, order administration, customer service or operations support role
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments
  • Manufacturing, engineering, logistics or supply chain experience would be advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential

This position is based full-time from the company's Clevedon office during the initial training and probation period.

There may be some flexibility around hybrid working thereafter.
