A leading manufacturer of complex mechanical components is looking to add to its progressive quality team. This company has an enviable reputation as a market leader in their field across the globe. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop within one of South Wales\’ most stable businesses.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that materials, components, and products meet the specifications set by the business and our customers.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Use and maintain precision measuring instruments (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges).
  • Identify deviations, raise and process non-conformance reports and complaints, including investigating and processing corrective and improvement actions.
  • Collect data to identify trends or patterns in product quality.
  • Ensure all products meet company and industry quality standards.
  • Apply coatings and other preservation measures for product preservation.
  • Apply product identification and applicable plates, such as CE Mark, etc.
  • Process quality documentation.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency with measurement tools (callipers, micrometres, gauges, etc.) and basic mathematical calculations.
  • Experience in a quality inspection/quality control role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in technical documentation, such as material certificates and testing reports.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), or similar quality certifications.
