Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognized as second to none. With a strong order book and over £9 million of investment going into the company\’s growth into various export markets, they are looking for a Procurement Team Leader to join their Procurement team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Leading and overseeing the procurement activities of direct and indirect consumables, raw materials, and maintenance stores.
- Liaising with Production, Engineering & Warehouse managers regarding production changes impacting the supply chain processes.
- Providing monthly & quarterly forecast reports, financial reports & price changes.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and leading improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- MCIPS qualification desirable.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments.
- Strong supplier and customer relationship skills.
- Strong business analysis skills, process improvement & organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of ERP Systems.
Benefits Package:
£53,000 – £57,000, Monday – Friday
