Procurement Team Leader – Plymouth, Devon

£53,000 – £57,000, Monday – Friday

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognized as second to none. With a strong order book and over £9 million of investment going into the company\’s growth into various export markets, they are looking for a Procurement Team Leader to join their Procurement team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Leading and overseeing the procurement activities of direct and indirect consumables, raw materials, and maintenance stores.
  2. Liaising with Production, Engineering & Warehouse managers regarding production changes impacting the supply chain processes.
  3. Providing monthly & quarterly forecast reports, financial reports & price changes.
  4. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and leading improvement initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  1. MCIPS qualification desirable.
  2. Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments.
  3. Strong supplier and customer relationship skills.
  4. Strong business analysis skills, process improvement & organizational skills.
  5. Strong knowledge of ERP Systems.

Benefits Package:

£53,000 – £57,000, Monday – Friday
