This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business in a Procurement and Logistics Lead role. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create, deliver and monitor KPI's relating to cost, OTD, quality, service and continuity of supply.
  • Prepare RFQs, manage tender processes, and ensure robust evaluation criteria are in place to select optimal suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers.
  • Expedite purchased parts as and when required to support production requirements.
  • Negotiate the most competitive prices from suppliers at the best possible terms and negotiate the most competitive Shipping Terms and Rates continually.
  • Work with logistics operations to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are cleared through customs, items are dispatched in a timely manner, assist with packing and shipping.
  • Provide direct support to Supply Chain Manager to design and implement new processes.
  • Develop our continuous improvement culture within our Supply Chain.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Supervisory experience is desirable for this role.
  • Experience of working in a procurement role.
