Second Line IT Support
Birmingham | Up to £32,000
An established professional services organisation is looking for a Second Line IT Support professional to join its growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced support professional to work across a modern Microsoft environment, supporting users while assisting with infrastructure, security and IT projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software and Microsoft 365 issues
- Troubleshoot desktop, networking, printer and remote access problems
- Support Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Teams
- Assist with server, cloud and network administration
- Support software deployments, upgrades and IT projects
- Apply security updates and assist with cyber security initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and deliver excellent customer service
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange Online
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and VPNs
- Experience supporting end-user devices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Intune, Hyper-V/VMware and Backup and Disaster Recovery Technologies would be desirable.
- Full UK driving licence
