An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading manufacturing company. The business is looking to bring an experienced Manufacturing Technician to the Engineering team at a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This is a challenging role involving diverse work.
You will be tasked with the setting/operation of CNC & Power Press Machines as well as the maintenance & repair of the same machinery.
Role Description- Setting & Operating Power Press/CNC Machines while performing reactive and preventative maintenance on all machinery and systems
- Working to company safety guidelines
- Ensuring the quality of production using SPC and following written SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and RA (Risk Assessments)
- Achieving set volume production targets
- Maintaining machines in line with preventative maintenance schedules
- Reacting to resolve immediate mechanical breakdowns
- Recording machine performance using the company's Smart Factory data collection system for measuring performance and OEE
- Taking part in company safety, quality, and performance programs
- 4-year Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with a Level 3 Minimum in Engineering - Must have Power Press or CNC background desired
- Hand Mechanical Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
