Great opportunity here to join a prestigious company in a senior role. You will have direct responsibility for managing the Hygiene team across all shifts. This is a varied role but would suit someone looking to join a high performing team that values autonomy. The majority of the hygiene related tasks take place overnight, between 6pm - 6am; therefore, this individual will be required to offer flexibility with their working hours - but you could work 2pm-10pm for example on occasions.
The Role:
- Lead and manage the performance and efficiency of all hygiene operatives across all shifts.
- Management of cleaning schedules and effective implementation to ensure schedules are completed daily/weekly.
- Writing work instructions for assembly/disassembly.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning equipment.
- Continuous improvement mindset, challenging current hygiene practices and standards across the site.
- Effective communication and timely close out of corrective actions following internal and external GMP audits.
- Assist with root cause investigation when incidents or trends appear.
- Engage with training.
- Prepare and participate in audits.
The Candidate:
- HND/degree in a food manufacture discipline.
- Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience and awareness in BRC / HACCP/ ISO 14001/ GMP Audits.
- Confident in managing a small team of hygiene operatives across both day and night shifts.
- Experience in monitoring employee performance and providing training where required.
