An interesting opportunity for a Health and Safety Coordinator to work in a manufacturing environment for bespoke machinery. One of Hunter's key clients are looking for someone to come on board and promote a positive health and safety culture with the wider team.
You will be responsible for conducting regular inspections and risk assessments across the site. You'll be the custodian of health and safety record keeping, ensuring accuracy and up to date information is recorded. This is very much a growing environment, with professional operations and high skill.
You will need to work in a cooperative way to ensure regulations are adhered to and any issues raised are communicated effectively and resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Previous work experience in a Health and Safety focused role
- Working in a manufacturing / fabrication environment previously is desirable
- Knowledge of various HSE legislation
- NEBOSH or other qualifications are desirable
- Willingness to work on site 5 days a week
- Strong communicator and cooperative way of working
