Our client is a leading manufacturer/distributor in the UK and well-known within the industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Head of Finance to take a strategic role within the business, managing both strategic and day-to-day accounting responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations such as invoicing and financial reporting
- Manage stock and enhance stock strategy
- Attend management meetings and brief colleagues on finance updates
- Buy and sell in foreign currency
- Liaise with key stakeholders within the business
- Coordinate with retailers, wholesalers, online stockists, and distributors
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience managing stock finances
- Strong understanding of cash flow management
- Excellent technical accounting skills
- Knowledge of currencies (euros, pounds, dollars, yen)
- Experience working with wholesalers, retailers, and trade counters
