Roles & Responsibilities
- Assemble and solder PCB components, wiring looms, and connectors following engineering drawings and build procedures.
- Perform functional testing, inspection, and calibration of assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Diagnose and correct faults during assembly and test procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to meet production schedules.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in electronic assembly, soldering, or similar technical role.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, circuit schematics, and assembly drawings.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Diligent, self-motivated, and well-organised with strong record-keeping skills.
