A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Training & Development Coordinator to oversee all site wide employee training activity. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail driven, and passionate about building capability, ensuring compliance, and supporting a strong safety culture. You'll be responsible for coordinating structured training plans, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring alignment with SOPs and work instructions, and supporting continuous improvement across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and making a real impact on people development.

Role Overview

  • Create structured training plans for new starters and employees moving into new roles
  • Define training activities, timelines, and trainers, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain accurate training records, sign offs, and documentation across all departments
  • Ensure training plans include all relevant SOPs, Work Instructions, Risk Assessments, COSHH and SDS requirements
  • Coordinate mandatory training such as First Aid, Fire Marshal, Spill Response, and Powered Vehicle training
  • Support SOP and Work Instruction updates by working with Quality, EHS, and Engineering teams
  • Report on training progress, completion rates, and compliance metrics
  • Engage with all shifts when required to ensure consistent training standards across site
