Role Overview
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a broad range of site equipment, including lighting, small power, dock levellers, and refrigeration plant.
- Diagnose faults quickly and effectively, ensuring safe and compliant repair work.
- Support the smooth running of site operations by responding to daily engineering needs.
- Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to deliver a reliable and efficient service.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance and site infrastructure.
Skills and Experience
- Completed trade apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years' practical industry experience.
- NC or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong electrical and mechanical skill base with proven fault‑finding ability.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, 'get the job done' approach.
- Full clean driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
- C&G 2079 F‑Gas and ODS Regulations.
- BS EN 378:2008.
- BS 7671 18th Edition.
- Counterbalance FLT licence and IPAF 3a/3b.
