Our client is a leading special purpose machinery company, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. They are looking for a charismatic, driven and experienced Service Engineer to grow the engineering team and meet ongoing demands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Repairing and serving a range of special purpose machinery on customer sites.
- Calibrating equipment directly at customer locations.
- Conducting inspections, servicing, repairs, and testing on both customer sites and in the Poole workshop.
- Collaborating on installations with others or working independently.
- Completing required documentation following company procedures.
- Complying with quality standards, as well as health, safety, and environmental regulations.
To excel in this role, you must possess strong problem‑solving abilities and practical thinking skills to ensure the equipment operates safely and efficiently, and that maintenance and repairs are carried out effectively.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Must be flexible for travel both nationally and internationally (Full Driving Licence needed).
- Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic engineering experience required.
- Servicing and calibration experience required.
- Experience installing special purpose machinery.
