Our client, a well‑established family‑run manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Supervisor Technician to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the shop floor. This pivotal role will ensure that production runs seamlessly and that all machinery operates at peak efficiency.
Roles / Responsibilities:
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations on shift, ensuring production targets are met
- Support with machine setting, and preparing machines for production
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, stripping, and cleaning
- Monitor and respond to machine performance, addressing breakdowns or maintenance needs promptly
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to operators
- Contribute to continuous improvement
About You:
- Must have experience in the plastics industry
- Must have basic machinery maintenance skills
- Must have supervisory experience
