About the Role:
Our highly respected SaaS client in Bristol is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to join the team. The products they design are internationally recognised, and you will contribute to their continued performance and presence. You will focus on the design and development of iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C for the Apple Store. Collaborate with a cross‑functional team. Ideally, you are an AI evangelist, excited about using AI to accelerate development, with strong foundational programming skills. You should also enjoy speaking with stakeholders and be approachable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex iOS development and deployment projects.
- Design and develop high‑quality, production‑ready iOS applications.
- Work across the entire SDLC, including testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and maintain REST APIs, SQLite data persistence, and TestFlight distribution.
- Apply best practices and ensure quality through automated testing and code reviews.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven commercial experience in complex iOS development.
- Strong command of Objective‑C and Swift.
- Experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Auto Layout.
- Agile development experience across the SDLC.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Xcode Cloud.
- Knowledge of REST API integration.
- Experience with SQLite.
- Familiarity with TestFlight.
